- C64S is an amazingly good emulator, too (and still improving). I ran
- "SAM" speech synthesizer under it once, and it sounded exactly like it
- does on the C-64. Of course, this emulator takes a 486DX2-66 minimum
- for good emulation speed.

- I think I heard somewhere that the life of silicon chips and such is
- 15 to 20 years, after that they deteriorate and no longer function.
